Per Maine state law effective 1/1/2016, an 9% tax will be added to the final bill. A deposit is required to hold space. There is also a mandatory cleaning fee of $100 as well as a security deposit of $500 (includes pet deposit, if applicable). All or some of the security deposit may be returned depending on condition of the house/property. Security deposit is required with full payment.

Booking & Cancellation Policy:

Booking: We book only 350 days prior to rentals, and we have an extensive waitlist for any week in July or August. Our policy is for our current renters, in good standing, have first right to their week(s) the following year. Families are building traditions & memories at Grey Ledge Cottage. Mandatory Rental Agreement must be signed, and we require A Reservation Deposit of 50% of the rental charge (rental rate, cleaning fee and 9% ME tax)  to secure the dates for your rental.
The remaining balance for your stay is due  2 weeks prior to your rental without penalty, which includes the $500 security deposit. Arrivals are after 4:00pm or later and Departures are 11:30am or earlier.
Cancellation: Four (4) week notice prior to rental term is required for reservation deposit refund.
